Access to Quality Doctors – We need to keep quality physicians in Pennsylvania, and we can’t do that unless we stop the high cost of medical malpractice insurance that has threatened to erode our health care climate. In 2002 we passed the most significant judicial reform in the history of our state, which included my proposal that requires that malpractice cases be tried in the count where the alleged malpractice took place. This will restore fairness and keep costs down. Even with this we have a long way to go.
