Some people get elected to office, go off to Harrisburg,
and forget about the people and ideals they were elected
to represent. Bob Godshall is different. As our
State Representative, Godshall works hard every day
to solve problems, deliver for us and make a difference.
Bob has earned the reputation as one of the area’s most
attentive and hard working public servants and has
received The Reporters Best Politician award three times.
Bob Godshall is actively involved with
a number of local organizations and is
committed to developing policies that
strengthen families and recognize their
role in making our communities better.
Godshall consistently delivers grant
money to preserve open space,
purchase land for recreational facilities
and develop new programs, without
the need to raise local taxes.

The Godshall Record

- Godshall has delivered millions of dollars in grants including a $462,000 grant to install the hard rubber rail crossing in Lansdale; $247,000 for regional fire companies; $135,000 for The Wellness Place; $178,000 for youth football and baseball; $94,000 for the Souderton Community Ambulance.
- Over $600,000 in grants to Lansdale in recent years.
- Obtained more than $850,000 for the development of the Souderton Boys and Girls Club and $1 million to expand the Y.M.C.A in Franconia.
- Secured over $450,000 in grants that will be used to improve recreation areas in Franconia, Hatfield and Lansdale.
- Recently secured a $50,000 grant for installation of a traffic signal in front of North Penn High School.
- Acquired a $215,000 grant for Hatfield Borough and Hatfield Township for road and safety departments.
- Secured a $40 million dollar commitment from PENNDOT to develop the Route 309 connector.
